Counseling Internship Program

At Behavioral Health Intervention Center, LLC we are currently seeking master’s level mental health students who are in need of an internship. Our internship program is designed for students who are seeking to become LCMHCA, LCASA, LCSWA or LMFTA in the state of North Carolina. We offer all of our interns:

• A guaranteed number of weekly counseling hours

• Weekly group and individual clinical supervision for mental health, substance abuse, and marriage and family therapy pre-graduation hours

• Access to our state-of-the-art clinic that is equipped with audio and video capabilities

• Registration with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board

• Experiential hours within the fields of both mental health and substance abuse counseling; which prepares students for dual licensing credentials upon graduation
